Nvidia is coming with its new GPU, the 3090 Ti. The latest GPU, RTX 3090, is already the most powerful card on the planet. Here’s all the information we have so far regarding the RTX 3090 Ti, coming on January 27, 2022. If the 3090 was the God, what is the Ti?
While the world is waiting for Nvidia to replenish its existing GPU stock such as GeForce RTX 3080 and RTX 3060, the company is coming with its new flagship, and with RTX 3090 as already the most powerful card on the planet, they seem to be dead set on releasing even more powerful units.
New information has surfaced online, revealing some key data concerning a new flagship GPU, Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090 Ti.
Folks at VideoCardz have claimed to receive an RTX 3090 Ti and shared some new information gained by them on the approaching graphic card. As per their data, the RTX 3090 Ti features the GA102-250 GPU with 10,752 CUDA cores, 84 RT cores, 84 clusters, 336 Tensor cores, and 128 ROPs. The data also states that the GPU features 21 Gbps memory with 24GB VRAM modules (same as RTX 3090). The supposed RTX 3070 Ti GPU with 16GB VRAM is also anticipated soon, but it will not be having a new PCB, as opposed to the RTX 3090 Ti.
The RTX 3090 Ti will apparently have a TDP more than RTX 3090’s 350W TDP (up to 450W). 450W seems like an overstatement, but it is not the first time for this upcoming GPU to be held with such high TDP ratings.
Furthermore, the upcoming GPU is similarly said to include a new power connector for the PCle Gen 5 compatibility. Any data about the Gen 5 16-pin connectors are still in unmapped territory, and they will be disclosed once we see some compatible motherboards on the market.
Reportedly, Nvidia is rumored to launch the RTX 3090 Ti in January 2022 alongside RTX 3070 Ti 16GB and RTX 2060 12GB which might clash with the supposed launch of the RTX 3090 SUPER, which we may or may not see this time around. Unfortunately, finer information regarding this GPU is still in the shadows, so we will have to wait a little more for that.
